Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a talented Videographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning videos and possess expertise in various video editing software. The Oblates of the Virgin Mary are a Catholic religious order with bold aims for vocational growth in the next 25 years, and the video position matches that desire to spread the charism and messages of the Oblates with the world via video. This position will work with the Provincial staff team as well as the seminarians and other priests Responsibilities:

• Supporting the mission of the Oblates of the Virgin Mary and the Catholic Church
• Come up with new video and series ideas to reach key audiences (vocations, advancement, ministry, etc.) working in coordination with various departments
• Capture and edit high-quality videos for various projects
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts
• Operate and maintain video equipment
• Ensure all footage aligns with the project's vision and brand guidelines
• Edit videos using software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects
• Add motion graphics and visual effects to enhance the video content
• Manage post-production tasks including color correction and audio editing
• Maintain and organize video archive for inter departmental use

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Videographer or similar role
• Proficiency in videography techniques and equipment operation
• Strong knowledge of video editing software such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects
• Familiarity with photography principles
• Ability to work creatively and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
• A keen eye for detail and aesthetics in film production
