Positions Available:
1. In-Country Facilitator
Responsibilities:
Maintain direct contact with the U.S. Embassy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and State Border Services to assist with site access and visa issues.
Provide logistics and support for construction, installation, maintenance, training, importation, and shipment coordination.
Manage warehouse inventory, including equipment receipt inspections and delivery schedules.
Arrange logistical support for meetings, lodging, meals, transportation, and interpretation services.
Coordinate shipments, ensure paperwork for export control and taxes is completed, and oversee delivery.
Assist with the coordination of VAT exemption and transfer of custody for shipments.
Skills and Experience:
Comprehensive support for international operations, including shipment coordination and logistics management.
Familiarity with local construction practices, inspections, permits, and specifications.
Proficiency in Ukrainian and English languages (written and spoken).
2. Local Site Manager
Responsibilities:
Support coordination of site access, badging, and survey staff and subcontractors.
Provide progress updates regarding stakeholder issues and support local maintenance providers.
Assist with daily progress reports, documentation completion, and conference calls.
Comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) requirements and identify additional health and safety measures.
Perform quality assurance and control activities, including receipt verification and monitoring construction activities.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of civil, electrical, or communications construction experience.
Proficiency in Ukrainian, Russian, and English languages (written and spoken).
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office products.
3. Interpreter
Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation and translation services for official meetings, documents, and communications for government officials, site construction engineers, and senior management from the U.S.
Ensure accurate and timely translations from English to Ukrainian and Russian, and vice versa.
Assist with document preparation and translation for importation, exportation, and legal processes.
Skills and Experience:
Fluent in English, Ukrainian, and Russian.
Minimum of three (3) years of linguistic experience is desirable.
Strong understanding of technical terminology related to construction and logistics.
4. Driver/Transportation Specialist
Responsibilities:
Provide in-country transportation for meetings, site visits, and interagency exercises, including airport assistance.
Ensure vehicles meet national and local safety requirements and are in good working condition.
Follow COVID-19 health and safety precautions, including the use of face coverings, frequent sanitizing of hands and surfaces, and social distancing.
Perform weekly vehicle inspections and complete a Vehicle Safety Checklist.
Skills and Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
Licensed and authorized to operate the vehicle.
Professional, well-groomed appearance and adherence to safety protocols.
