Job Description

A large 3PL Distributor in the Louisville area is in need of experienced Team Leads on 2nd and 3rd shift. Schedules are: 2pm to 10:30pm for 2nd shift Monday - Friday & 10pm to 6:30am Sunday - Thursday for 3rd shift. Team leads are responsible for overseeing associates on the floor and handling paperwork. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties including inbound/outbound paperwork, filing and reporting in Microsoft Excel. 
• Communicates with Manager regarding inbound/outbound shipments and inventory status. 
• Ensures flow on the floor is moving efficiently.
• Ensures transportation piece is moving and alerting folks when not 
• Tracks labor and reports absences to Manager. Help resolve labor changes needed.
• Reports HR issues to Supervisor or Manager. 
• Help on floor when behind or to help cover absences
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• One year of previous RF Scanner experience required. 
• Previous experience using Microsoft Office software required.

• Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. 
• Must be able to read and write. 
• Must be able to differentiate parts/pallets for shipment. 
• Must be able to use RF scan gun. 
• Must be able to use Microsoft Excel for data reporting.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to be organized. 
• Forklift experience is preferred

Education/Certification Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for part of shift.
• Ability to stand/walk for periods during a shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. 
• Ability to occasionally bend or pivot. 
• Frequent use of hands to grasp, place, or lift items. 
• Ability to use hands and fingers to type. 
• Specific vision abilities including close, distance, color and peripheral vision
