Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent who can drive  projects to success, from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a solid history of  managing high-level construction projects, particularly in custom home building. Youll be  expected to actively find the best resources, execute complex projects, and lead by example  while maintaining strong communication with homeowners and interna l teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee high-end residential construction projects valued at $5  million or more, ensuring all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest  quality standards.
  • Client Relations: Maintain direct communication with homeowners to ensure  satisfaction, address concerns, and build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Leadership: Lead teams by example, promoting a culture of accountability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and vendors, while keeping meetings minimal and efficient. 
  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues in project planning, execution, and customer relations, ensuring seamless operations across the board.
  • Self-Starter Mentality : Take initiative, seek ways to improve processes, and maintain a proactive attitude toward work and challenges. 
  • Technology Use: Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, and Dropbox. Learn and adapt to new tools and systems as needed.
  • Dependability: Meet and exceed expectations for project delivery, and hold yourself and others to high standards of excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in high-level construction project  management, specifically in custom homes. Experience with estimating is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A self-starter who thrives in an independent, fast-paced  environment. Must have a track record of taking ownership of projects and delivering results.
  • Adaptability: Open to new ideas and flexible in approach, not rigid in methods, and willing to learn new processes and tools.
  • Leadership Skills: Capable of leading teams, setting clear expectations, and holding yourself and others accountable.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience working with luxury residential projects (custom homes) and the ability to handle projects of $5 million+ in value.
  • Customer Focus: Strong ability to manage client expectations and maintain positive, professional relationships.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in Excel, Dropbox, and Bluebeam. Familiarity with Procore is a plus.
