Job Description

The HR Intern cleans and maintains assigned area(s) to meet customer and client satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • HR major (preferable a junior or higher but would consider freshman if the right candidate)
  • 20 hours/week, able to work Monday-Friday and some summer hours mostly during on new student orientations
  • Tabling events for on campus student employment recruitment – comfortable with outgoing personality, always portray professional manner
  • Recruitment tasks, all aspects from calling for scheduling interviews to onboarding
  • Social media- supporting and creating general announcements for employee communication groups
  • File, daily operations of office: answer phones direct to problem solving, computer, compose email/letters/flyers, organizational skills
  • Microsoft Word/ PPT/ Excel
  • Able to lift, bend, stoop, squat, reach, crouch and kneel.
  • Strong Communication Skills (Verbal & Written), Ability to Problem Solve Quickly, Effective in Multi-Tasking to manage multiple projects and priorities, Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Current CCU Student

Qualifications

•    Previous custodial experience preferred
•    Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling greater than 50 lbs.
•    Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective equipment (PPE).
