Job Summary

Are you an upbeat recruiter looking to join a worldwide leader in infrastructure and maintenance?

We are looking for a Human Resource Administrator to support our operations in Middletown and Dayton, Ohio. This position reports directly to the Regional Human Resources Manager and will ultimately support multiple Human Resource departments. This will include various HR functions but will primarily be passionate about recruiting, attracting hires, and retaining the best employees, while growing a proven pipeline for our construction, aggregate and manufacturing areas.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications, selects candidates, schedules interviews and makes job offers.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other team members.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Collaborates with corporate talent acquisition team to communicate our recruiting needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Minimum Experience

  • Associate degree and 3 years of related experience in Human Resources Management preferred.
  • At least 2 years running recruitment and hiring process.
  • Experience with construction salaried, hourly craft, skilled trades, and truck driver positions is required.

Required Skills

  • Confirmed work experience as a Recruiter (either in house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
  • Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information system (HRIS).
  • Self-motivated and able to quickly learn new procedures and processes.
  • The ability to respond quickly and optimally to change.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and planning skills, time management skills and written/oral communications skills. ​
