Qualifications

• 8+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application with manual and automating tests
  experience.
• Experience in designing, building, and executing UFT One (formerly QTP) automated scripts.
• Experience with using Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for writing test scripts from
  scratch.
• Experience with Visual Basic Scripting and AI technologies, UFT One experience preferred.
  Need a senior Automation resource who can assist in maintenance of existing frameworks andbuild new automation using UFT One and with re-writing/updating of existing manual scripts for automated testing to align with best practices.

Skills/Knowledge/Responsibilities

Assists with development of testing strategies.
Consults with users, providing advice and direction for automation.
Designs and documents test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures for use during testing and quality assurance activities.
Assist in developing and documenting quality assurance standards, measurements, methods, and/or procedures to determine product quality and/or release readiness.
Provides authoritative advice and guidance on any aspects of quality assurance, including
training where appropriate.
Experience/knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of software development
and the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including knowledge of industry accepted
software testing best practices.
Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems, information technology
equipment, applicable programming languages, computer hardware and software, and
computer operating systems.
Experience in analyzing test plans and test scenarios to validate that the requirements are met within the application and/or business processes.
Skill using HP/Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), HP/Micro Focus Application
Lifecycle Management (ALM), SQL, XML, and Visual Basic (VB.net) scripting language.
Hands on software quality assurance (manual and/or automated testing) experience.
Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess and/or recommend solutions.
Adjusts testing approach and/or practices to best facilitate quality within defined product
solutions framework.
Uses test case management tool to enter and/or update test cases and report progress.
Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft preferred.

Candidates will be helping with automation of existing functional testing scripts. Also assisting with development of testing strategies and best practices. Designing and documenting test plans, scenarios, and procedures for use during quality assurance activities as well as standards, measurements, methods, and /or procedures to determine product quality and release readiness. Provide authoritative advice and guidance on all aspects of training where appropriate . 

1. Experience in IT quality assurance and system/application testing with both manual and automation techniques. – proficient – 4 to 6 Years
2. Proficiency in designing, building, and executing tests using UFT (Unified Functional Testing). – proficient – 6 to 9 Years
3. Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools. – proficient – 4 to 6 Years
4. Strong knowledge of Visual Basic Scripting (VBScript) and AI-driven UFT automation. – proficient – 5 to 8 Years
5. Seeking a senior automation resource capable of assisting with ongoing test maintenance. – proficient – 6 to 9 Years
