Job Description
We have a client in Los Angeles who is looking to add a Production Supervisor to their team. The Production Supervisor displays leadership abilities in training and empowering production personnel to achieve production goals. A hands-on leader to develop and execute plans to meet customer needs, achieve the highest standards related to safety, quality, line efficiencies, yield, and continuous improvement. Leads, directs, supervises, and coordinates all production and packaging activities of fresh cut products operation on assigned shift. Acts as the liaison between management and factory employees. Accountable for leading safety, food safety, quality, and high productivity.
Responsibilities include:
* Manage and coach the team to success, insure manufacturing productivity and efficiency for the shift
* Collaborate with other night shift departments
* Follow and enforce all policies and procedures; both company and regulator
* Ensure safety of all employees
* Trouble shoot and work with Maintenance team
* Communicate with the Management team on shift performance and production; both planning and issue resolution
The ideal candidate holds:
* 2+ years in management within a in a fresh-cut facility
* Need to be highly motivated, have great communication and leadership skills
* Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform all manufacturing operations
* Familiarity working with data management programs
* Strong understanding of GMP's and Food Safety
* leadership mindset, great communication, and drive
* Bilingual
