As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in the supply chain process, ensuring that goods are accurately picked and packed, ready for distribution or customer collection.

Responsibilities (Varies by Business):

• Accurately pick orders from warehouse inventory using detailed lists, ensuring precision in item selection.
• Efficiently pack items, making sure they are securely prepared for shipping or pickup.
• Conduct thorough quality checks on products to maintain high standards and minimize errors.
• Utilize warehouse management systems or manual processes for inventory tracking.
• Handle and transport products carefully to prevent damage during the picking and packing process.
• Organize and label packages correctly, following specific shipping and handling instructions.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area, complying with all warehouse safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with other warehouse team members to streamline the order fulfillment process, sharing best practices and improvements.
• Report any inventory discrepancies, damages, or operational issues to the warehouse supervisor or manager.
• Participate in periodic inventory counts and assist in stock replenishment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, specifically in picking and packing roles, is preferred but not essential.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
• Physical endurance to stand, walk, lift, and move items throughout the shift.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to different warehouse environments and operational demands.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, to accommodate the scheduling needs of different businesses.
