Note: This position is open to Indiana residents only.

About the Role:
As a Pharmacy Technician in our Medicaid Rx Customer Service Center, you will be a key player in supporting members and providers with their pharmacy coverage and claims processing inquiries. You'll be handling various tasks using multi-line phones, including responding to questions about pharmacy locations, coverage, and medication pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process requests for prescription prior authorization and appeals.
Scan, index, and prepare documents related to authorization requests, ensuring accurate patient information.
Compile and review medical notes from patients and providers to support authorization requests.
Update requests in the claims system and inform patients/providers of the approval status.
Communicate denial decisions to patients/providers with clear explanations.
Manage multiple priorities efficiently and maintain strong customer orientation.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of pharmacy experience (retail, LTC, hospital, etc.).
Valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
National CPhT certification or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
Proficiency in computer systems, data entry, and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and dedication to company values: Committed, Collaborative, Consultative, Caring.
Ability to pass E-Verify, a criminal background check, and a pre-employment drug screen.
Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Medicaid or government healthcare.
Remote work experience.
Call center experience.
Inbound/outbound call experience in a pharmacy setting.
