We are looking for an able and dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapist to treat musculoskeletal problems and improve the mobility of infants, children, and adolescents facing various health conditions. Your main responsibility as a Pediatric Physical Therapist will be to improve childrens motor development, strength, range of motion, endurance, balance, coordination, gait difficulties, heart and lung endurance, and delayed motor development.

Pediatric Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

• Interviewing children and family members and using physical examinations to diagnose the source of childrens movement difficulties.
• Creating unique, individualized treatment plans that outline the treatment goals and methods to be used.
• Helping children to learn to move their bodies correctly, make their movements less painful, increase the functions of injured body parts, and heal from injuries.
• Assessing patients and monitoring their progress.
• Using techniques like functional training and exercise, medication, diet changes, and specialized equipment that is designed to treat and alleviate pain.
• Teaching children and their families about safety and home exercises.
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists and physical therapist assistants to ensure optimal patient care
• Manage patient caseload and documentation using electronic medical record software

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA or CAPTE approved physical therapy program
• State licensure
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to manage a caseload of 10-12 patients per day
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team

Clinic Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm, Friday 7:00am-5:00pm

Base Salary: $75,000 - $105,000 / year + monthly patient incentive bonuses starting at treating 9 patients a day

Now offering sign on bonuses up to $30,000 in select locations!

(Any posted pay range considers multiple compensations factors including background, experience, and work location while also allowing for salary growth within the position.)
