Established (35 Years) Law Firm seeks Litigation Paralegal! Remote Flexibility! Remote Flexibility (East Bay)

We are a west coast based Law Firm representing clients in a variety of different legal matters. We deal with complex litigation involving site accidents, entertainment and hospital claims, automobile accidents, and other general types of civil litigation.

Who you are: 

• Litigation Paralegal experience.
• Handled tasks through preparation for trial and assisted counsel during trial.
• Familiarity with local courts and local rules and procedures.
• Familiarity with Code of Civil Procedure and Rules of Court.
• Experience managing litigation processes and rules of procedure.
• Ability to prepare drafts and status reports.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

What you will be doing:

• Draft discovery, disclosure and other various legal document for attorney review.
• Manage litigation matters throughout the entire  trial process.
• Maintain, organize witness files.
• Communicate with witnesses, counsel, investigators, and clients about obtaining discovery.
• Analyze case information for attorney review, including medical records and evidence.
• Prepare drafts of status reports to clients.
• Perform substantive research.
