Jr. Mortgage Processor job at Superior Lending Associates, L.C. Remote, US

Job Description

Our company is experiencing rapid growth! We are expanding our team by hiring a Junior Mortgage Loan Processor to join our highly productive and skilled lending team. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the loan process, from origination to close, while ensuring compliance with current lending policies and regulations. Training will be conducted in our office in Orem but can transition to remote work after training is completed.
The starting pay is $14/hour during training and will increase to $15/hour afterward.

Responsibilities:

Update loan documentation in our system on a regular basis to ensure we have detailed records of the entire loan process
Work with other processors to meet underwriting and conditional needs
Prepare and request items through Arive needed for loan approvals such as: Title Requests, Evidence of Insurance Requests, and Verification of Employment Requests
Send documents to borrowers to e-sign via SignNow and DocuSign
Find contacts for employers to send Verification of Employment Requests
Send requests for insurance quotes to local insurance agents
Follow up on requested items to make sure loans close on time and meet deadlines

Qualifications:

Exceptional attention to detail, and must be organized and have excellent time management skills
2+ years of loan processing experience preferred, but not necessary
High school diploma or GED required
Mortgage lending experience and loan knowledge preferred, specifically with FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loans
Spanish speaking is not required, but it would be a great qualification to have!
Experience with Google Sheets
Must possess exceptional attention to detail, as well as strong analytical and time management skills
Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
