Location : Durham, NC
Job-Type : Full-Time, Salaried, 40 Hours/Week 

Description : Haven Design|Build is seeking an Interior Designer for the new construction and renovation of single-family, multifamily, and small mixed-use/commercial projects. 

Responsibilities : 

• Facilitate the interior design process with Clients, working closely with Project Architects to understand the design intent, vision, and goals for the project. 
• Manage the selections process externally with Clients and internally with the Project Team. 
• Create detailed and understandable interior design and selections documents for Clients and Project Team. 
• Assist the Project Teams with problem solving through design and construction. 
• Achieve high quality design outcomes that meet project schedule and budget requirements. 
• Creating construction implementation guides which support in-field implementation of design and selection decisions. Attend site visits as required. 
• Coordinate with other design and construction professionals, such as consultants and subcontractors, as required. 
• Identify and assess selection options and vendors for ongoing and future projects. 
• Organize and maintain product samples and supplier information. 

Qualifications : 

• A passion for the design process with a strong understanding of color theory and lighting principles. 
• Ability to serve clients within a variety of project scales, budgets, aesthetics,, and preferences. 
• Ability to maintain a high level of organization and time management across a portfolio of active projects. 
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients to elevate their experience of the design process. 
• Strong internal and external communication skills, including verbal, written, and graphic presentations. 

Requirements : 

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred 
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suites
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and Sketchup Preferred
