Job Description: The Government Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving the growth of LNB Solutions’ products in the government sector. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce and SaaS applications, as well as the ability to navigate government procurement processes and build strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation and Market Expansion:

    • Utilize GovWin, SAM.gov, and other government procurement sites to identify and generate leads for potential government contracts.
    • Develop and execute strategies to expand LNB Solutions' product offerings into local, state, and federal government markets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the public sector to increase revenue and market share.
  2. Salesforce Partnership and Collaboration:

    • Work closely with Salesforce Account Executives to identify and secure new business opportunities that align with LNB Solutions' products and services.
    • Collaborate with Salesforce partners and other third-party vendors to develop joint solutions and proposals that meet the needs of government agencies.
  3. Strategic Partnership Development:

    • Build and maintain relationships with key government officials, decision-makers, and procurement officers to ensure LNB Solutions is well-positioned for upcoming opportunities.
    • Establish partnerships with consulting firms, system integrators, and other stakeholders to expand the reach of LNB Solutions' offerings in the government space.
  4. Proposal Development and Contract Management:

    • Lead the preparation of proposals, bids, and responses to government RFPs, ensuring alignment with LNB Solutions' strategic goals and compliance with procurement regulations.
    • Negotiate and manage government contracts, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that LNB Solutions delivers high-quality services to its clients.
  5. Market Intelligence and Reporting:

    • Monitor government procurement trends, policy changes, and industry developments to keep LNB Solutions ahead of the competition.
    • Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, market expansion progress, and strategic partnership outcomes to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with a focus on the government sector.
  • In-depth understanding of Salesforce and SaaS applications, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of these technologies to government clients.
  • Proven track record of success in generating leads, securing contracts, and expanding market presence in the government sector.
  • Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, including experience with tools like GovWin, SAM.gov, and others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Administrator).
  • Experience working within the Salesforce ecosystem, including collaboration with Salesforce AEs and partners.
  • Familiarity with public sector compliance requirements and regulations.
