As an HVAC Fabricator with Nexeo, you’ll transform raw materials into critical components for HVAC systems by cutting, bending, and welding metal to bring projects to life. You’ll interpret detailed technical drawings and operate a variety of cutting-edge fabrication tools and machinery. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for precision, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
• Read and analyze blueprints, schematics, and designs to map out metal fabrication projects.
• Use fabrication tools (saws, grinders, lathes, etc.) to cut, bend, and shape metal components.
• Perform advanced welding tasks, joining metal parts using MIG, TIG, and ARC methods.
• Assemble HVAC components, ensuring accuracy and functionality with a commitment to quality.
• Perform thorough inspections of finished products to meet safety and quality benchmarks.
• Keep the work area safe and organized, following all safety regulations.
• Maintain and service fabrication tools and equipment, ensuring they’re always working properly.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent (certification in metal fabrication is a plus).
• Proven experience as a fabricator or in a related role in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced skills in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
• Strong technical knowledge of metal fabrication tools and machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in various positions.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in all tasks.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engineers.
• Valid driver’s license.
Pay
$17.00 - $18.00 Per Hour
Schedule
Day Shift | Monday – Friday | 9:00am – 5:00pm
