About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Debt Settlement Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, negotiation, and debt settlement.

A Debt settlement specialist will review your financial situation and assets to help come up with a realistic number to offer when negotiating. He will help you determine whether negotiating debts is the best option for your financial situation.

A Debt Settlement Specialist is a financial professional who negotiates with creditors on behalf of individuals or businesses to reduce the total amount of debt owed. Their goal is to help clients settle outstanding debts for less than the full balance, typically by arranging lump-sum payments or structured repayment plans. They assess financial situations, communicate with creditors, and guide clients through the settlement process to achieve financial relief.

Responsibilities:

• Contact customers who are behind on their payments and negotiate repayment plans
• Educate customers on debt settlement options and provide guidance on the best course of action
• Respond to inquiries in a timely and effective manner and treat customers fairly and consistently
• Negotiates account settlement within established guidelines
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment arrangements
• Achieve monthly targets for call volume, successful negotiations, and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with other team members to improve processes and customer experience

• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

Job Type: Full-time

• Hourly + Commission! (pay structure gives you a safety net and also motivates you to do more)
