Title:   Copywriter 

Location : Scottsdale, AZ

Work Schedule:   On-Site, M-F

A Copywriter position is now available in the Greater Phoenix, AZ area. Our client is looking for a strategic Copywriter that can promote their internal brand, as well as client content campaigns across diverse mediums. This position will work closely with the marketing department crafting strategic B2B and B2C content that bring brands to life through the power of words. This is a highly collaborative role that will work closely with all internal departments, therefore an in-office work schedule M-F is mandatory.

As a Copywriter you’ll be responsible for the following:

• Assisting with strategy, research, and content creation for a variety of mediums such as events, websites + landing pages, video, social media, long & short form articles, blogs, emails, case studies, interviews, branding & marketing collateral, etc.
• Brand Voice Development: maintain consistency and authenticity in brand voice across all communications, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and strategic messaging.
• Conduct research and analysis to gain insights into target audiences, market trends, and competitor landscapes, leveraging finding to inform marketing and creative strategies and executions.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with peers across marketing, creative, account service, SEO, and web development teams.
• Serve in a client facing position to assist with overall strategy from a content development point of view. Present and pitch to C-level stakeholders.
• Ensure all digital content is optimized appropriately (SEM,SEO)
• Provide recommendations for existing and new campaigns to drive metrics and performance, as well as ensure remaining up to date on industry trends, etc.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and coherence.

Requirements

Copywriter Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field of study (Journalism, PR, Communications, etc.).
  
• Ideally 3+ years of professional experience working in a fast-paced, and deadline driven environment.
  
• Portfolio showcasing diverse copywriting experience (print, digital, brand messaging, B2B & B2C content)
  
• Proficient in AP Style writing
  
• Client facing experience – comfortable interviewing stakeholders, asking questions in meetings, sharing ideas with peers in meetings, and brainstorming.
  
• Attention to detail, strong research skills, and excellent proofreading/editing skills.
