My client is looking to hire a Billing Coordinator/Accounts Receivable Specialist!
I'm partnered with a nationally recognized family-owned company specializing in Waste Management Solutions. Company growth and expansion has led to an urgent need for a Billing Coordinator.
The ideal candidate will be a crucial member of the finance team reporting directly to the COO. Along with a background in hazardous waste billing, the candidate will possess tremendous communication skills with the ability to thrive within a family-based office environment. Essential job functions:
* Accurate and timely management of billing processes, including preparing invoices, managing accounts receivable, and addressing client inquiries.
* Manage and process full accounts receivable workflow including invoicing and collection.
* Review contract and proposal documents that adhere to industry standards and regulations.
* Post transactions to journals and ledgers.
* Maintain and update customer records and billing data.
* Assist in preparing financial reports and documentation.
* Collaborate with multiple departments maintaining seamless financial management.
Qualifications:
* 2+ years as a Billing Coordinator, ideally within the Hazardous Waste Solutions sector or a similar industry.
* Thorough understanding of billing and financial practices.
* Proficient with billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Comfortable reading and interpreting legal documents.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Maintains excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
